AIESEC in Malaysia

I would say I’m spending averagely. My exchange was in Taipei. I spend overall around rm4500 including the flight tickets. These are the fixed cost that you will have to pay such as Visa, flight tickets and EP fee.

Overall, the Taiwan exchange has a lot of good covers like free accommodation and celebration meals. But we still have to pay for our electricity bills which is around rm150 for 6 weeks. The rest are all for meals, transports, and essentials.

If you are a budget person which travel less during free time or not buying souvenirs, I would say 4k is definitely more than enough. The meals are slightly higher/ equally the same as Malaysia pricing. You choose which to eat in the end. It is definitely worthwhile for me as if you travel to Taiwan for 1 weeks, you will almost spend around 2k too.
