While AIESEC in Malaysia is desperate to develop 10,500 action-driven youth leaders towards a united Malaysia by 2017, we still believe leadership is developed when a young person go through a properly designed inner and outer leadership journey. We believe the best way for you to learn & develop your leadership potential is by getting your hands dirty and do something meaningful to the community. A challenging environment (in another country) puts you into a situation which you need to interact with the people, challenge your limits & do amazing things to impact the local community. 3. We allow you to interact & network with multiple stakeholders
A great leader is a great communicator. In every AIESEC experience, we provide opportunities for you to interact with people from different background and expertise. Being a leader, we want to help you to discover your strengths and weaknesses while network with youths around the World. Through this process, you will realise a great leader is often a result of a great team. Nobody is perfect, hence we need a team to complement each other to achieve a team purpose – peace & fulfilment of humankind’s potential.

We understand the process to become a leader is not an easy journey. However, it’s going to worth it after you discover more about yourself, people around you & the World. While we create the challenging environment to speed up your leadership development, we will always have a leader or buddy to coach & facilitate your reflection, learning & development. While going through your outer journey of leadership development, our members (also known as AIESECers) will guide you to set your personal goals and facilitate you to reflect on your experience from time to time.
