“The World is Big, The World is Small. The world is indeed a large place to live in, but we have so many commonalities among us, that can only be experienced when you go out of the country and interact with the local community there.”

Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir is a social activist and writer. She is the Ambassador of AIESEC’s Global Citizen Program. In a video recently, she mentions the importance for Malaysian youths to go abroad to develop a global mindset and see the world from a different perspective. In short, she sincerely wishes that youths in Malaysia would be proactive in seeking a global learning opportunity.
